(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Karnataka: The transport administrations which have been influenced from the most recent three days because of the strike called by the vehicle workers will continue from Monday, said Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Transport serve Laxman Savadi on Sunday. 

This comes after Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Sunday held a gathering with the vehicle division authorities and heads of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) and Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). Transport serve Lakshman Savadi, home priest Basavaraja Bommai, income serve R Ashok respects were likewise present in the gathering to end the stop brought about by transport representatives’ dissent. 

 “After productive talks with associations and relationship of KSRTC and BMTC, its workers have acknowledged ending the strike. The transport administrations will continue from tomorrow,” Savadi said after the gathering. 

The strike called by the vehicle representatives of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) requesting they be viewed as government workers, entered the third day on Sunday. 

Many workers of transport enterprises are organizing an appetite strike at Freedom Park on Sunday. 

The inconclusive strike by drivers and conductors had started on Friday. They were requesting that they should be viewed as government representatives, with pay comparable to state government staff and pay like Covid-19 cutting edge labourers in an occasion of death because of the pandemic.
