Byju acquires White Hat Junior

Byju has paid the US $ 300 million (about 2240 crores) for this acquisition. Whitehat Junior works to increase coding skills in children. According to a report, coding for children is emerging as a major skill in the future and has a market of US $ 8 billion. The acquisition will help it expand in the US and India.

The new education policy emphasizes teaching coding skills to elementary classes. The statement said Byju will make significant investments on the Whitehat technology platform and product innovation. It will expand the teacher base to meet demand from new markets.
