(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Tamil Nadu: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is conducting the November and December 2020 Chartered Accountant Examinations from November 21, with a request from students across the country to postpone the conduct of CA examinations amid the covid-19 epidemic. However, now the institute has announced the postponement of CA examinations to be held on November 24 and November 25 at Tamil Nadu and Puducherry centers. The conduct of CA examinations at these centers has been postponed in view of the possible danger due to preventive cyclone in coastal areas.

The official notice related to the postponement of CA examinations at Tamil Nadu and Puducherry centers by ICAI was issued today, 24 November 2020. According to the notice of the institute, the examinations scheduled for Chennai, Cuddalore, Kanchipuram, Karaikudi, Kumbakonam, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Thiruvallur and Villupuram and Puducherry (UT), have been postponed for the examinations to be held on November 24 and tomorrow on November 25. The papers which have been postponed by the institute, including CA Intermediate Group 1 Paper 2, Business Laws, Ethics and Communication and Intermediate Examination Group 1 Paper 2, Corporate and Other Lodges, CA Final (Old) Group 1 Examination, Paper 3 and Final. (New) Group 1 Exam Paper 3, Advanced Auditing, and Professional Ethics.
