(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: The mother and daughter, who set themselves on fire in front of Lok Bhawan, were instigated by Congress and AIMIM leaders for self-immolation. After recording the statement of the Hospitalized mother-daughter and sifting the call details, the Hazratganj police have registered a case against four people, including AIMIM’s Amethi district president Kadir Khan and Congress spokesperson Anuj Patel. On Saturday, the police arrested Aasamaan, the daughter-in-law of the victim woman and Kadir Khan. At the same time, the police commissioner has suspended four policemen, including an inspector, on negligence.
Meanwhile, in Amethi, three policemen including the inspector in-charge of Jamo have been suspended. Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey said that Safia and her Gudiya, who belong to the Jamo police station area of Amethi, had a dispute over drainage from Arjun, Sunil, Rajkaran, and Rammilan of the village, in the same dispute, both sides were beaten on May 9.
