(Satya Havilah, Intern Journalist) Hyderabad: After 105 days, 38,310 new cases were reported per day, as compared to active cases, the total cases more than 70 lakhs.
India achieved several important goals in the ongoing war against Covid. In the last 24 hours, the number of new active cases has come down to 40,000. 38,310 new cases were reported daily after 15 weeks (105 days). On July 22, 2020, there were 37,724 new cases.
The number of active cases continues to decline in India following the recovery of large numbers of Covid patients every day and a steady decrease in mortality.
Another achievement has been a tremendous decline in the number of active cases that have fallen to less than 5.5 lakhs. The total number of positive cases in the country at present is 5,41,405 which is only 6.55 percent of the total cases.
It provides encouraging results, the coordinated strategy of Central Government and continuous test and rapid tracking, trekking, immediate hospitalization, and centralized treatment done by States / UTs as per standard treatment protocol of Central Government Received as a result of effective action. This success is also attributed to the selfless service and commitment of doctors, paramedic staff, frontline workers, and other Covid-19 warriors operating in different parts of the country.
With the decline in the number of active cases, the number of patients recovering has also increased drastically. The total number of corrected cases has crossed 76 lakh to 76,03,121.
The gap between active cases and cured cases have crossed 70,000 lakhs today and stands at 70,61,716.
