(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); Angered by the lack of time to meet the President, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will hold a sit-in with MLAs at Rajghat in Delhi today. The Captain had sought time to meet President Ram Nath Kovind against bills passed against the agricultural laws of the Central Government and not running trains. But time was not given.
The Chief Minister said that the crisis arising due to the cancellation of goods trains in the state is deepening. All power plants are closed. Taking serious notice of the two union ministers not meeting the Congress MPs, Singh said, the ministers also sought time to discuss the matter of suspension of goods trains and non-payment of GST arrears from the railways and finance ministries, but they were also not given time by the ministers.
