For this, an 8-member team from China reached Everest on Wednesday via Tibet. According to China, Mount Everest has an elevation of 8844.43 meters. At the same time, the height that Nepal measured was 8848.13 meters. The scientists started the survey to measure Mount Everest from May 1.

China believed that Nepal did not measure the height of Mount Everest correctly. China’s surveyors have so far completed 6 cycles to measure the height of Mount Everest. In 1975 and 2005, the peak elevation was stated to be 8848.13 m and 8844.43 m respectively.
The team stayed at the top of the mountain for 150 minutes
The team that reached Mount Everest stayed for 150 minutes at the top of the mountain. The team broke the Chinese people’s record for the longest stay on the mountain top. During this time, the team members also put the survey mark on the 20 square meters wide peak.
