Chinese Bank Case: Anil Ambani told UK court,

(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Mumbai: In an ongoing dispute over the loan Agreement with 3 Chinese Banks, Anil Ambani himself has admitted to a UK Court that he does not have the money to pay lawyer’s fees. He is selling his precious jewels and is paying the fees.

He said that the talk about his life is just untimely because his lifestyle is very disciplined. Ambani met the court on Friday through a video conference from Mumbai. Ambani, once a billionaire, is going through a difficult time at this time. Ambani Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (Mumbai Branch), China Development Bank, and Exim Bank of China appeared before the high court for a hearing of the order for disclosure of the assets acquired.

Under the order, Ambani was required to disclose all his assets worldwide. “My needs are not very big and lifestyle is very disciplined,” Ambani told the London Court. When the lawyers of the said Banks mentioned Ambani’s luxury cars and lavish lifestyle, the head of the Reliance Communications dismissed these things as speculation in response. Anil Ambani’s spokesman said that contrary to the exaggerated assumptions of his flamboyant and lavish lifestyle, Ambani has always been a man of simple nature.

His lawyer said, “he is devoted to his family and company, is a Marathon runner, and a highly spiritual. He is a lifelong vegetarian, does not smoke, and prefers to watch films at home with his children rather than going out on the town.” Reports that say different things are completely misleading.
