The news agency quoted the Chinese President as saying, “Soldiers should stay on high alert … keep your mind and energy ready for war.” Chinfing said during a visit by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to Marin Corpus in Chaozhou City that soldiers should be completely loyal and confident.
President Xi’s comment is not entirely in reference to India, although it comes at a time when the border dispute between the two countries is going on in Ladakh.
