(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) After the meeting of Sachin Pilot with Congress high command on Monday, now the long-running political upheaval in Rajasthan seems to be ending. Congress has formed a three-member committee to address the issues raised by the pilot in the state.

Pilot had said in a meeting with Rahul Gandhi on Monday that none of his steps were against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Both Pilot and Gehlot have welcomed the decision to form the committee. 

Gehlot said, “Brotherhood and peace will remain in our party. A three-member committee has been set up to address the grievances. BJP tried its best to bring down the government, but in the end, all our MLAs are with us, not a single MLA has left us.

Gehlot alleged, ‘Income tax and CBI are being misused and politics is being done in the name of religion. But, our government will complete its term and we will also win the next election.

A meeting held on Monday, Congress decided to set up a three-member committee to resolve issues raised by the pilot. In doing so, the party hinted at ending the internal strife and crisis in Rajasthan. The statement from the party came hours after the Pilot met Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi. In this meeting, where Pilot put all his problems in front of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Rahul also assured to take an appropriate decision after considering all the issues. 

On Tuesday morning, three independent MLAs from Rajasthan met Chief Minister Gehlot. According to the information, independent legislators Om Prakash Hoodla, Suresha Tank, and Khushveer Singh met Gehlot at his Jaipur residence.10 independent MLAs supporting Ashok Gehlot’s government have also stayed in two hotels in Jaisalmer since 31 July.

Sachin Pilot said, ‘Congress has formed a three-member committee after I and some legislators have raised the issues. The issues that we raised are very important. There is no place for malice or personal enmity in politics. Regarding the meeting with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, the pilot said that both of them listened patiently to our complaints and assured that a road map would be prepared to resolve them.
