(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) WASHINGTON: Global IT giant Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has recently said that the coronavirus could pose more challenges in the next 4-6 months. He emphasized the need for people to wear masks, social distance, and hygiene to combat the virus, which is causing health problems in many countries around the world. Otherwise, the virus could spread further, leading to an increase in the number of deaths. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is known for its research and financial support for the development and distribution of vaccines for the Covid-19 building.
Another 2 million people have lost more than 2.9 million lives to the Covid-19 merger in the US so far. However, the IHME, which recently assessed health factors, estimated that an additional 2 lakh people were likely to die. “It’s very sad,” said Bill Gates, co-chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. However, it has been suggested that these can be avoided by wearing masks and following social distance. He said the recent rise in the number of cases and deaths in the US was worrying. He, however, said that he hopes to deal with these situations effectively.
Bill Gates claims that Covid-19 is causing more damage than expected, with the highest number of deaths due to viruses in 2015 alone. He thought that more difficult conditions might be encountered upfront. He said the US was concerned about the impact of the virus on the world.
