(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has released the report of registration of vehicles in the month of October. According to the report, 14,13,549 vehicles were registered in October 2020. Whereas, in October 2019, 18,59,709 vehicles were registered. That is, there has been a steep decline of 23.99 percent in the registration of vehicles this October as compared to October 2019. That is, there has been a decline in the registration of vehicles in the festive season itself. Today we are going to tell you about the registration of vehicles of all segments in the month of October.
In October 2020, 10,41,682 two-wheelers were registered. Whereas, in October 2019, 14,23,394 two-wheelers were registered. That is, there was a decline of 26.82 percent in the registration of vehicles this October compared to the previous year.
In October 2020, 2,49,860 passenger vehicles were registered. Whereas, 2,73,980 passenger vehicles were registered in October 2019. Passenger vehicle registrations declined by 8.80% in October 2020 as compared to October 2019.
