(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The Congress has formed a committee to consider the ordinances issued by the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Five close leaders of Gandhi family have been included in this committee. While Gulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma are excluded. During the Congress committee meeting 2 days ago, there was a ruckus about the letter written by Gulab Nabi Azad. According to a release signed on 26 August by Party general secretary KC Venugopal, the interim president of Congress has constituted a 5-member committee to discuss and formulate the party’s stance on key ordinance announced by the central government.

The leaders in this committee are P. Chidambaram, Digvijay Singh, Jairam Ramesh, Dr. Amar Singh, and Gaurav Gogoi. The responsibility of convener of this committee has been entrusted to Jairam Ramesh. This committee will work to discuss the major ordinances issued by the central and decide the party’s stand. Let me tell you that during the CWC meeting 2 days ago, many members of the, who wrote the letters, had declared the supporters of BJP. Azad is said to be saddened by the allegations and even then offered to resign, terming it baseless. Other leaders who wrote the letters also denied these allegations
