Congress targeted BJP on Nepal issue

After the new political map was approved in the Nepali Parliament, the Congress party on Saturday called it a sad day for Indo-Nepal relations. Taking a dig at the BJP, the opposition party said that its self-proclaimed strong leadership in the matter of protection of the national interest is in the form of ostriches.

Congress’s chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said, “Lack of mature political leadership cannot be an illusionary TV war.” Congress leader Kapil Sibal said that when Narendra Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister for the first time in 2014, he invited the heads of all the neighboring countries to take an oath, but even today, our relations with the neighbors are still not sweet.
