Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Patna residents woke up to rainy morning on Friday, as a moderate rain accompanied with wind lashed the state capital along with several places across Bihar.
According to the Metrological Department, Patna received 55.3mm rain till evening on Friday. Spell of intermittent rain resulted into waterlogging in several low-lying localities, including Rajendra Nagar, patliputra colony, shivpuri , kadamkuan, Bazar samiti, Beekha chak, Gardanibagh and pockets of Bailey Road.
Reportedly, strong winds uprooted trees near Boring road and Secretariat, however, no damage to building or life was informed. A PMC official said, “our cleaning team is working to drain out water”.
