Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) The ingredients required to make this dish are 200g corn kernels, 150g all-purpose flour, 2 chopped medium-sized onion, 1 chopped green chili, 1/2 inch chopped ginger, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,3 tbsp cooking cream, 1/4 tsp gram masala powder,1 pinch of asafoetida, salt as required, 1/2 cup water, oil as required for trying.

Method to make this are as follows: Boil corn kernels with a pinch of salt. Drain it once boiled.

To make a Fritter Patty, add corn kernels and sliced, onions in a bowl. Next, add half inch ginger and 1 green chili. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, asafoetida, and salt as required. Mix well.

Now add all-purpose flour. Add water and mix very well. Add cream and prepare Patty with semi-firm consistency. After that heating oil in a pan to either shallow fry or deep fry. Fry the patty in medium flame till it looks crisp and golden.

And then remove the fried corn Fritters with w slotted spoon and drain to remove excess oil. Serve them hot with tomato sauce.
