Corona Test in IPL: Mumbai Indians players including Rohit sampled

(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): The Indian Premier League (IPL) is being played in a bio-secure environment in the UAE due to Corona this time. The first match will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 19 September. Earlier, all the players and staff including Mumbai team captain Rohit Sharma were sampled for the corona test in a bio-secure environment.

Its video was shared on the Twitter account of Mumbai Indians. This time the corona test of the player and support staff will be done on every 5th day of the tournament. There will be a total of 20 thousand investigations. For this, BCCI will spend 10 crores rupees. 3500 Tests have been done by Wednesday.

Recently 13 people, including two CSK team players Deepak Chahar and Rituraj Gaikwad, were found to be Corona positive. Whereas all the players including skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni (except the infected) started the practice after the third Test was negative. At the same time, 12 people including both of the 13 players have joined the bio-secure environment with negative reports.
