In the Health Department, Dr. Kaushal Kishore was playing an important role in monitoring the measures being taken to control the corona. He is a senior Indian Administrative Service officer as well as a physician.
At the same time, KL Das, financial advisor of the State Health Committee, was infected Corona the previous day, he died during treatment. There has been panic among the officers and personnel of the committee since the death was reported. This has also affected functioning. The committee office is fully sanitized.
In view of the growing crisis of corona in Bihar, the central government has provided 264 new ventilators. In the last two months, 364 ventilators have been made available from the center. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that the Health Department is making every effort to provide better treatment to the Corona patients. For a better treatment of corona patients, in addition to the one hundred ventilators sent earlier and 264 ventilators have been sent by the Central Government. Out of this, 25 ventilators will be installed in AIIMS, Patna, and the remaining ventilators in various medical colleges cum hospitals in the state. In the last two months, while the Center has procured 364 ventilators to the health department, 30 ventilators have been made available by the state government. Also, another hundred ventilators are to be received from the central government.
