(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: The speed of recovery of corona virus-infected patients in Uttar Pradesh has increased. The recovery rate has improved by more than 11 percent in the last month. During the twenty-four hours, 2,351 new patients of Coronavirus infection have been found in the state. So far, a total of 4.59 lakh people have been caught by Corona, in which 4.22 lakh patients have become healthy. Now the recovery rate has increased to 91.91 percent, which is better than the national level of 88 percent. At the same time, active cases have come down to 30,416 as the number of patients recovering compared to new patients.
Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of 68,235 active cases on 17 September.
At that time there were 3.54 lakh patients of coronavirus, of which 2.83 lakh were healthy and the recovery rate was 80 percent. Since then, it has been declining continuously for 33 consecutive days. So far, 55.43 percent of cases have been reduced. Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Amit Mohan Prasad informed that 13.52 lakh people have been screened in the state so far. With the death of 30 more patients in the last 24 hours, a total of 6,714 people have taken this dangerous virus so far.
A special vaccination campaign will be started from November for about 3.50 lakh children and four lakh pregnant women of the state who have been vaccinated due to the Corona epidemic. The health department has started its preparations. These children and women have been identified in the Dastak Abhiyan from 1 to 15 October.
