(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist), Noida; Amid the ongoing complete lockdown in Uttar Pradesh, there was a stir on Saturday after the body of a couple was found from a house in Noida. Police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported and sent the bodies for postmortem. Giving information in this regard, Additional Superintendent of Police Ranvijay Singh said that in Hoshiarpur village of Sector 51, a couple was found dead inside a room under suspicious circumstances on Saturday morning. A child has been found crying near his body. The deceased couple were residents of Bihar and had moved to Noida, possibly due to a family dispute.
The police officer said, ” As soon as we got information about the incident, we had visited the spot and it seems to be a case of suicide. We are contacting the concerned police station in Bihar. The cause of death is not yet known. Police are investigating the case. There is an atmosphere of fear among the people after this shocking incident.”
Similar Incident last month
A similar incident was also seen in Gyan Khand-1 of Indirapuram in Ghaziabad last month, where a couple had committed suicide in their flat. When the police opened the door of the flat and went inside, their 8-month-old child was found alone. The couple Nikhil (31) and Pallavi (28) lived here with their 8-month-old baby. Police said Pallavi committed suicide by hanging in the drawing-room and Nikhil in the bedroom
