Covid ICU Bed: Good news found among Corona, 1035 ICU beds empty in many hospitals of the capital
New Delhi: After the problem of oxygen in the capital is over, the problem of ICU and oxygen beds has also ended now. More than 15 percent of ICU beds are empty in various hospitals in Delhi. The main reason for this is the decrease in the number of patients admitted to hospitals every day after new cases of corona have decreased. In addition, a large number of patients are recovering and being discharged from the hospital. Due to this, the problem of not getting beds in the hospital is also ending.
Due to the empty ICU beds in most of the large hospitals, people have got relief from the shortage of beds. Talking about big hospitals, ICU and Oxygen beds are also empty in many other hospitals including Guru Tegh Bahadur (GTB), Loknayak, AIIMS, Safdarjung, Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, and Lady Hardinge Medical College. Apart from this, ICU beds are also empty in many other hospitals including Vimhans, Saroj, Divine, Shanti Mukund, and Madhukar Rainbow.
According to the Delhi Corona app, as of 7 pm Tuesday, 1063 out of a total of 6,663 ICU beds and 10,616 oxygen beds out of a total of 24,327 oxygen beds were empty. It is noteworthy that for the last more than two weeks, new cases of corona and infection rates have been steadily decreasing in Delhi, while the rate of recovery of patients is also increasing continuously. This is reducing the pressure of patients on hospitals, which is making it easier for patients to get beds. At the same time, if we talk about normal beds reserved for corona patients, then about 13 thousand beds are empty in different hospitals.
