As part of the campaign against confiscation/attachment of property of gangster act, effective action was taken by various police stations Singramau, Sureri, Saraikhwaja, Kotwali and Khuthan towards 11 accused of gangster act, who earned the Property by illegal liquor smuggling, robbery, possession, and gambling (Scorpios-03, Freight carrier-01, Maruti Swift-01, Motorcycle – 04 and in back accounts- Rs. 4,09,84,160) Estimated Rs. 4.50 crore (Section 14 (1) Gangster Act). The statement was done under the order of District Magistrate Jaunpur. The details of which are as follows.

- Manish Kumar Yadav son of Mahendra Yadav resident of Balua police station Badlapur Jaunpur liquor smuggler (vehicle number UP 62, AT 8356 Mahendra Scorpio, estimated price 6.50 lakh)
- Ankit Upadhyay son of Avadhesh Upadhyay resident Balua police station Badlapur Jaunpur liquor smuggler (vehicle number UP 66, L 6600 Scorpio, estimated price 8 lakh)
