(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Chennai: A horrific murder case has come to light in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, where a daily wage laborer was strangled to death in the middle of a road not once but twice. The incident took place on Wednesday and was captured on a nearby CCTV camera and now the footage has gone viral. A wage laborer named Santosh was strangled nine times in the Pudupet area of Chennai. The murder was carried out by three people.
The deceased was a resident of Santosh Kannagi Nagar. CCTV footage shows Santosh walking on the street and suddenly a man argues with him. There are two other people with this person. Before Santosh says anything, a man in three cuts his throat with a blade. Santosh falls to the ground soon after the attack. During this, his throat is attacked 9 times and the accused leaves him suffering in this condition and runs away. In this case, the police of Greater Chennai have arrested two people so far while the third accused is still absconding and the police are looking for him.
