(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Animal rights activist Ayesha Christina has reported in a video that some residents of Delhi’s Rani Bagh area assaulted her and her team members when they were helping street dogs. Somebody came up and spoke to one of the staff badly. Ayesha, who was seen bleeding, said, “We are supposed to shut up… all the time. When we decided to stand up… this is what is done to us.” She was standing outside the Duty officer at Azadpur Station. She even showed the condition of the other team members. Their clothes were torn off and the window of the car was damaged.
