(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Dubai: The Delhi Capitals Team XI Punjab in a super over in a thrilling match played on Sunday. Punjab’s team could only 2 runs in 3 balls in the super over. Its inning came to an end as captain Lokesh Rahul and Puran fell. In response, Delhi won by scoring three runs in two balls. With this Delhi scored 157 runs for 8 wickets in the prescribed twenty over. Punjab’s team was reduced to 157 for 8 wickets.
Punjab needed 13 runs to win in the last over. Playing a half-century, Mayank Agrawal hit a six off the first ball of Marques Stoinisch and scored to run on the second ball. He again hit a four off the third ball. Punjab had scored just one run in 3 balls. But the fourth bowling was played while Mayank was dismissed on the ball. Chris Jordan also lost his wicket off 6th ball and the match was tied.
