Currently, the speed of the Corona Case of Delhi has doubled to 101.5 days, while in the whole country it is now 28.8 days. Due to the efforts being made to bring the death toll from the corona to zero, the death rate from the corona in Delhi has also improved significantly.
Currently, in the month of August, the death rate in Delhi is 1.4 percent, while in the whole country the rate is 1.92 percent. In a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday, the Health Department of the Delhi Government presented fresh data regarding the corona. These figures are not only strengthening the Delhi model but are also providing relief to the residents of Delhi.
While there was a sense of chaos in Delhi over covid in June, there is a lot of improvement in the situation today. DDMA met in this regard on Wednesday. The present situation of Corona in Delhi was reviewed in the meeting. During this time, the Health Department of Delhi Government presented a detailed report related to Corona.
According to this report, the speed of doubling of the cases of covid-19 in Delhi is higher than in other states of the country. Covid cases have been found to be doubling in Delhi in about 101.5 days in August, while cases are doubling in 28.8 days in the whole country. According to the report, the death rate has also improved to a great extent with the increase in the number of cases in Delhi. In this month, the death rate in Delhi has been 1.4 percent, while the death rate in the whole country is about 1.92 days. On June 18, Delhi’s test positivity rate, which was 24.59%, has fallen to 5.25% on August 18. This decline is visible in the positive rates of both RTPCR and rapid test. On 18 June, 9088 RTPCR tests were conducted in Delhi, in which 2805 positive cases were released, i.e. the positivity rate was 30.85%.
At the same time, on August 18, 4106 RTPCR tests were conducted in which 434 positive cases were out, i.e. the positivity was 10.57%. Similarly, on June 18, there were 3316 rapid tests in Delhi, in which 246 positive cases came out, i.e. the positivity rate was 7.42%. At the same time, on August 18, 10882 rapid tests were conducted in which 353 positive cases were detected, i.e. the positivity rate was only 3.24%.
According to the latest report, on 20 June 2020, the rate of recovery of patients in all of India including Delhi was around 55.2 percent. But since then, the situation in Corona in Delhi has been steadily improving and the rate of the health of patients in Delhi is continuously increasing compared to the whole country. At present, the rate of the health of patients in the whole country is 72.5 percent, while the rate of health in Delhi has increased to 90.2 percent.
Similarly, on July 1, 2020, the rate of doubling of the covid case in Delhi was almost equal to the rate of the entire country for about 20 days. But since then the rate of case double in Delhi has been increasing continuously. On July 17, the covid case was doubling in Delhi in 58 days. Similarly, cases were found to double in 90 days on August 1, 2020, and are currently doubling in 101.5 days. At the same time, compared to this, the rate of doubling of covid case across India is between 20 and 27 days on 1 July 2020.
