(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The role of the Air Force to deal with China was discussed during a three-day conference of top commanders of the Air Force. Along with this, there was talk of deploying the Air Force in Ladakh. During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh praised the Air Force and said that it is asked to be in alert mode at all times. Air Force Chief RKS Bhadoria while addressing his commanders said that the Indian Air Force is fully prepared to deal with any kind of threat.

Addressing the inaugural session of the Commander’s Conference, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the nation will always remember the role of the Indian Air Force under some of the most challenging circumstances. Its contribution during the country’s response to the Corona epidemic has been highly commendable. He said that the Air Force did an airstrike in Balakot in a very professional manner. The Air Force has given a strong message by deploying itself in Eastern Ladakh.

India has been steadily increasing its military capability amid continuing conflict with China. In this series, Rafale fighter jets can also be deployed in Ladakh. On July 29, the first consignment of 5 Rafale planes from France is due. The Air Force has already deployed its modern fleet of Mirage 2000, Sukhoi-30, and MiG-29 fighter jets to the forward base in Ladakh.
