(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The doctors who signed the autopsy report of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput are receiving threatening calls and abusing them. Screenshots of the autopsy report are being posted on social media which have the names and mobile numbers of the five doctors at Cooper Hospital.
Doctors could not get a response in this regard. Dr. Shailesh Mohite, President of the Medico-Legal Association of Maharashtra, said that he has been receiving such phones and messages in the past few days. According to some reports, the callers are accusing the doctors of taking a bribe to hide the truth in the report.
Dr. Mohite told, “Dr. Pinakin Gujjar, Dean of Cooper Hospital has told me about the harassment of the five doctors who signed the postmortem report.” He said that similar phone calls are also coming to the hospital’s landline numbers.
He said, ‘I think there should be strict legal action against such trolls. Some of them have acquired personal details of these doctors and have put screenshots on social media platforms. Dr. Mohite said, “It is unfortunate that the doctors have gone through this harassment and their families are being targeted.” Please tell that Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on 14 June. CBI is investigating his death.
