(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Delhi; The Congress released a documentary film on Saturday with Rahul Gandhi interacting with a group of migrant laborers last week, with a demand for justice of these workers who walks a hundred and thousands of kilometers to their home in the pandemic situation. At the end of the documentary, Gandhi says the government should provide Rs 7,500 to the family of 13 crore who needs it through direct cash transfer.
The documentary shows the pain of the migrant laborers and their families, as they want to return back to their villages after losing their means of livelihood in the cities due to the lockdown for the Covid-19.
