(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist) Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pardesh residents are thankful to one cop who works in the state police 112 emergency helpline centre. The helpline centre gets 75,000 calls on an average per day and this number has increased during the COVID crisis. Actually, 10 members of the helpline technical team were tested COVID positive between June 20-22 and the centre has to shut down as the rest 11 were found affected at the Ghaziabad station. The situation completely shut the services of the Helpline centre.

But Among these adverse conditions, Brajesh Gupta, who was also tested COVID positive, worked from his hospital round the clock by taking all the emergency call aiding the Public. He made sure that the steady stream of calls was routed to various centers effectively. Brajesh’s work and constant efforts were appreciated.
