Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO)has launched its contest “Dare to Dream 2.0” for innovators and startups on the fifth death anniversary of former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who was a renowned scientist and He was also known as the missile man of India.
The scheme was launched for emerging technologies and to promote the individuals and startups for innovation in the defense and aerospace technologies in the country. The “Dare to Dream 2.0” is an open challenge to promote the innovators and startups of the country.
The winner will be decided after due evaluation by an expert committee. Award money will be Rs 10 lakhs for start-up and RS 5 lakhs to the individual categories. Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh has expressed his happiness to announce the contest for the ‘Ignited Minds’, whether innovators or startups.
