(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): Italian company Ducati, which produces luxury superbikes, has launched the Panigale V2 bike in India. The ex-showroom price of this superbike is Rs 16.99 lakh. According to Ducati, these 3 riding modes are given in the motorcycle race, sport, and street and the person riding the bike can choose one of these modes using the switchgear provided in the handle. The settings of each riding mode can be adjusted through the new 4.3 inch TFT instrument console.
The Panigale V2 is about Rs. 1.70 lakh more expensive than the Ducati 959 Panigale. When the 959 Panigale was available for sale, it was priced at Rs. 14.74 lakh. The Ducati Panigale V2 has a 955cc superquardo, twin-cylinder engine. This engine generates 155 PS of power and 104 Nm of peak torque. This is Ducati’s first BS6 launch of the year. The bike has a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and has a bi-directional quick-shifter as standard. Ducati had already started booking this bike on an initial payment of Rs. 1 lakh.
