According to the forecast of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), due to the effect of western disturbance, Northeast states are likely to splash with heavy rains and thunderstorms for Wednesday and the next few days. According to the Weather Bulletin, ‘Heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya’.

The Meteorological Department said that apart from Assam and Meghalaya, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning, hail, and strong winds at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh tomorrow (May 14). IMD advisor said, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh will be splashed with a dust storm and thunder.

Here, Delhi NCR is also likely to receive rain with thunderstorms. Not only this, but the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of hailstorm along with thunderstorms, and many areas of Delhi-NCR will be cloudy since morning. In the next 24 hours, several states of the country including Delhi NCR may receive rains with a dust storm.

A Chance of thunderstorms and rain in these states According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with a dust storm and thunderstorms in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, the weather will remain dry in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, and West Bengal. There may be rain in some parts of these states. There are signs of the onset of pre-monsoon amid the possibility of rain in so many states. However, the Meteorological Department has not yet provided information about the pre-monsoon.
