They are giving information on the status of availability of seats in trains passing through their region on Twitter and Facebook pages. Extension of refund facility up to March 31 to passengers who booked tickets before the announcement of the postponement of the operation of trains during the period of lockdown imposed by the East-Central Railway due to CoronaVirus Infection has made.

Rajesh Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway, said that the railway has started giving information about reservation seats in trains on Twitter and Facebook page. To see this, passengers have to follow the Twitter or Facebook page of the East Central Railway. After that, they will be able to get related information. On the Facebook and Twitter pages, passengers are getting information about the availability of seats in several trains simultaneously. Information about new trains is also being given to them. Thousands of former Central Rail followers on social sites are taking advantage of this facility.
