For this reason, Tesu and ballooners also got decorated. In the afternoon, when it was found that only the effigy of Ravana had disappeared, everyone’s consciousness was shattered. The mannequin was frightened but was nowhere to be found. On social media too people started quipping that Ravana has become corona. Is quarantined.
All public representatives including city and coal legislators reached. The city legislators lashed out at the police for not protecting the effigy. Said, when the dispute was already going on, why were the policemen not deployed for security? When the effigy was discovered, the structure was found. The same was prepared and later combusted. Ravana was burnt for the first time at Ramlila Maidan. For the first time in Ramlila’s 100-year history, the effigy disappeared. On the basis of suspicion, Shri Ram Leela Goshala Committee President Vedprakash Jain and a female employee were taken into custody by the police. Later, Jain was released. A report has been filed against both of them at Gandhi Park police station.
This time due to Corona, Ramlila was not organized on Achtalal. The committee had decided to build a 25-foot-high effigy in the Ramlila ground instead of Numaish Maidan.
However, the controversy over the effigy started on Saturday night itself. The police gave notice to the committee chairman Ved Prakash Jain at nine o’clock that Ravana would not allow combustion in Ramlila Maidan. Committee minister Arvind was called to the police station. Police and committee officials got into conflict with this. Police later said there was a failure. Can burn the effigy. On Sunday afternoon, City MLA Sanjeev Raja reached Ramlila Maidan to see the system and it was found that the effigy itself has disappeared. After some time, Coal MLA Anil Parashar and Iglas MLA Rajkumar Kumar allies and other BJP officials reached. ACM B Anjum and Gandhi Park Inspector Manikanth also reached the scene as the atmosphere was getting warmer. City MLAs were very angry with the inspector. Said, how did the chairman of the committee give notice at night? Why was I not informed even after such a serious matter?
