Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj S Chouhan) on Thursday objected to the ban on the holding of political rallies in Madhya Pradesh and mentioned Bihar why such discrimination in one country. He has even threatened to go to the Supreme Court. He said, ‘We are going to the Supreme Court against the order of the Gwalior Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court prohibiting political rallies in the state. Political rallies are being held in Bihar every day, a country cannot have different laws like this.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said, “Today they had two meetings in Shadora and Barach which were canceled after the High Court order, so I apologize to all the citizens.” According to the Chief Minister, the decision given by the High Court, rallies or election meetings will not be held. The Chief Minister said, ‘Honors the court’s decision, but it is wrong. A place can be a meeting in a state, not a place. Political rallies are being held in Bihar every day, so they will appeal against this decision in the Supreme Court.

The High Court has been cautious about political rallies in the state since the beginning of the pandemic Covid-19. During the hearing of a petition, the court ordered that if a crowded gathering or rally is held then a case will be registered immediately against the said candidate and the party. Explain that Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and former CM Kamal Nath have come in this grip, an FIR has also been lodged against them.

It is notable that BJP has 107 seats in the 230-member state assembly and has support for 4 independent seats. Apart from this, there are two Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLAs and one Samajwadi Party suspended MLA. The BJP, which wants to form the state government alone, will have to win 9 out of 28 seats.
