(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and promotion board has released the offline exam date for the recruitment of 5085 posts of Jail Warder, Mounted Police Reserve, and Fireman in the fire department. The written exam for these posts will be held on 19 December 2020 and 20 December 2020. Under this recruitment, direct recruitment need for 3012 posts for jail Warder and 626 posts were made for women jail Warder, 2065 posts of Fireman in cavalry police. The board said that the candidates should keep checking the official website uppbpb.gov.in for updates. The board had earlier planned to conduct recruitment exams in September but it was delayed due to the Corona epidemic.
The written exam will be of 300 marks with multiple-choice questions. There will be negative marking. Candidates who are successful in written examination will be called for an examination of documents and the Physical Efficiency Test. The merit list will be made on the basis of the written examination of successful candidates in PET. No betting list will be released.
