(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): In the home district of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a father is roaming the streets for justice over the death of his child. The maliciousness can be estimated from this that the father is wandering for justice after the death of a child in a government hospital due to a doctor’s negligence.

In order to get justice for the dead child’s father Sanjeev, the common people have to run a signature campaign. The case is of Rajgir Referral Hospital, an international tourist destination in Nalanda district. Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Rajgir, said that he had admitted to Rajgir Referral Hospital on November 9 to deliver his wife. After delivery, the newborn was suffering from some serious illness, but neither the doctor nor any health worker informed him about this. When the child’s condition was critical, he took him to Patna, where he died during treatment.

After the child’s death due to the negligence of the hospital, Sanjeev pleaded for justice from the Health Department to the DM, but no action was taken. Seeing that justice does not come, he got the support of the people. To bring justice to Sanjeev, a signature campaign is being run in collaboration with citizens. There is also anger among the public about the maladministration of Rajgir Hospital.
