(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The conspiracy to terrorize Delhi was thwarted by Delhi police. The special cell has arrested a terrorist of the ‘Islamic State of Khurasan Province’ after an encounter late Friday on the Ring Road Dhaulakuaan-Karol Bagh. Police said that the arrested terrorist is a resident of Balrampur. Two IED-based pressure cooker bombs, a pistol, two cartridges, and a bike were recovered from him. It is said that the pressure cooker bomb contained 15 kg of explosives. This is the first IS-linked militant in Delhi, caught with explosives.
