(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: Late Wednesday night in front of the SSP office, bike riding miscreants fired on the lawyer. During this time, his Scribe was hit on the leg and he got injured and fell on the road. On information, the police arrived and admitted the injured to the hospital. Till late night the police continued to make information about the accused. Kidwai Nagar resident advocate Shailendra Pandey’s Chamber is near the SSP office.
He worked in the chamber till late night to prepare a case on Wednesday. Munshi Deepak Gaur was also present with him. After the work was over, they are going home. According to Shailendra, the two men were on the road in front of the canteen in the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, when two miscreants arrived on the bike. They started firing from a pistol. He narrowly escaped but Deepak was shot on the leg. He was rushed to the hospital where treatment is underway.
