First vaccine for corona named “covaxin” may be launched on August 15

(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) : On August 15, “Covaxin”, which is the first vaccine for corona may be launched. This vaccine is prepared by Bharat Biotech, a pharmaceutical company. The good news is that the vaccine is launched by Bharat Biotech and ICMR. According to ICMR’s letter, the enrollment for human trials will be started from 7 July. If the trial will be successful, the vaccine may be launched on August 15. The vaccine of Bharat Biotech may become first in the market. This letter is passed by ICMR and all stakeholders, where Aim’s doctors are also included. It is currently estimated from ICMR. They say that if every trial stage will be successful, covaxin may come into the market after 15 August. This is claimed by ICMR. Last few days ago, Hyderabad based company Bharat Biotech filed a claim that it got a green signal from DCGI for human trial of phase-1 and phase-2 of covaxin. The company also said that the work of the vaccine trial will be started from the first week of July. Bharat Biotech has also prepared vaccines of polio, rabies, Rotta virus, Zika virus, Japanese incefelitis, and chikungunya. The enrollment for human trial can be started from July 7. If the trial will succeed, the vaccine will be launched on August 15.
