Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) On Tuesday evening district police arrested 5 people, including a relative of former MLA Musafir Paswan, in connection with the loot Case of RS 26.50 lakhs of employees of the same employee of the same MLA in Sambalpur under Ahiapur Police station, Muzaffarpur.
Four of the accused are said to be members of Darbhanga based interstate gang and the fifth one is the wife of one of the robbers. Armed criminals had looted Rs 26.50 from Mukesh Kumar, an employee of former MLA Musafir Paswan, on August 25.
As per Senior Superintendent of police “I had set up a team, led by SP Niraj Kumar Singh, after getting information about some of the Robbers gathered in a house adjacent to the MILA’s residence. They were there to distribute the looted amount”.
