Prime Minister Modi along with central leaders, Telangana Chief Minister KCR along with celebrities attended the event. Amravati aspires to develop as an international city. But the farmers of Amravati were upset with the statement made by AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the assembly in December 2019.
The chief minister said there would be three capitals in the state. Administrative Capital in Visakhapatnam .. Judicial Capital in Kurnool .. Legislative Capital in Amravati. Steps have also been taken in that direction. GN Rao has also appointed a committee in this regard. They have also submitted a report in favor of the three capitals.
After that, the CRDA Act was repealed in the Assembly and the three capital bills were passed and sent to the Governor. But petitions were filed in the High Court on the matter, putting a brake on the three capitals.
If so… The people and farmers of the Amravati area are remembering that event on the occasion of the completion of five years since the laying of the foundation stone. Amravati farmers, who have been protesting for more than 300 days, staged protests on the occasion of the completion of five years for stone laying.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Amravati at Uddhandarayunipalem five years ago in the name of the glory of Amravati-today’s misery. Farmers and women from the villages of the capital will reach the site of the stone-laying at 9 am on foot from Rayapudi and Mandapam.
