As the Government strengthened its rules and regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic, All the nursing homes were forwarded notifications, saying all the visitors are restricted except for close family members and friends.
By now, already Beaches, Bars, and Restaurants were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But then, most of the public were involved in public gatherings ignoring the use of a mask. But these poor seniors in the nursing homes are isolated for four months. They were within the four walls.
While Florida extricated the COVID rules ahead, than any other country and today the number of cases was tripled. Surprisingly, the state has triple the number of China’s total COVID-19 Cases. It has created a record in registering the maximum COVID-19 cases in a single day-15,000 on Saturday.
But this is affecting the seniors and as they were separated from their family and friends. measures should be taken to implement safety methods that would allow visitors to nursing homes again, marked by Florida’s AARP a non-profit agency. They have been separated from their closed ones for months now, and we don’t even do that to prisoners too, said Jeff Johnson, Director of Florida’s AARP.
