(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Mansarovar Ramlila Maidan by leading the traditional Vijay Shobhayatra and crowned Lord Rama. After doing Tilak, he said that by following Shri Rama’s dignity, we can win the war with covid and carry forward our normal life.

The Chief Minister said that to win over covid, we have to follow ‘two yards and mask is necessary’ because we have to save life and also life. Referring to the 100-year-old tradition of staging Ramlila at the Mansarovar Ramlila Maidan, the Chief Minister said that through this we have been able to preserve our rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

He appealed to the people not to allow the Ramlila stage to be confined to Ramlila only once a year, but also to continue the process of organizing these festivals on national festivals and Sri Krishna Janmashtami. The Chief Minister also advised starting a series of hymns from the Ramlila forums. He said that there should be at least four to six programs in a year from the stage of Ramlila.

In this sequence, the Chief Minister while referring to safe and protected sites like Ramlila Maidan said that the work of securing spiritual heritage is going on continuously. In such a situation, it will no longer be possible to occupy any such site. Spiritual legacies will be saved from evil eyes. Seeing covid, the Chief Minister praised the people for celebrating Durga Puja within the confines of their homes.
