For election 30,000 police personnel will be deployed

Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Home Ministry has selected Three-hundred Central Armed Police Force to send to Bihar to help in the state election next month. These 30,000 police personnel will ensure that the election is held peacefully with the help of Bihar police informed officials.

According to the Home Minister “The State Government is recruited to work out the detailed deployment plan in consultation with CAPFs . The movement and all will be coordinated by CRPF”. The arrangements should be made under the Covid-19 safety guidelines, Home Ministry further added.

As per Home Minister, there are 38 districts in the Bihar but 40% of those districts are affected by “Left-wing Extremism”. Gaya Aurangabad, jamui, jehanabad are worst affected by Left-wing Extremism.

CRPF will coordinate the movement of forces, they are instructed to de- induct forces as soon as possible so that they can start area- dominations and confidence-building exercises in these areas”, a senior official informed.
