(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) Ford India is preparing for its next launch special edition Endeavor Sport. The company is about to launch its new SUV in the Indian market this festive season. Although the company has not announced the official booking of this car, a few select Ford dealers have started booking it unofficially.
The company is continuously launching the teaser of this new SUV. This shows that the launch of this car is coming soon. The company has started this car reaching dealerships across the country.
Although the look and design company has not confirmed this, the car could be based on the top-of-the-line 4×4 AT variant of Endeavor.
The new Endeavor Sport variant, the styling of this car will get many updates, due to which its look looks different from the regular model. The car has a new honeycomb grille, bumper inserts, matching black inserts for the rear bumper, new alloy wheels, roof rails, and endeavor lettering on the tailgate. In addition, a ‘Sport’ badging has been done on the tailgate and rear doors of the car.
This car will get a 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine. This engine generates 168 bhp power and 420 Nm peak torque. A 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission unit is provided with this engine. In the Indian market, the Endeavor Sports car will compete with SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner TRD Limited Edition.
