(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: RJD leader and former minister Vidyasagar Nishad died on Tuesday. He was ill for a long time. His funeral will be held at his native village in Khagaria district on Wednesday at Gogri Ghat with state honors.
On receiving the information about the death of the former minister, the party flag was tilted at halfway in the RJD office. His body was also brought to the party office while going to Gogri from Patna. Leader of the opposition party Tejashwi Yadav and State president Jagadananda Singh paid tribute to the dead and covered his body with the party’s flag.
Vision Patel, Alok Kumar Mehta, Chandeshwar Prasad Singh, Madan Sharma, Nirmala Yadav, Dr. Prem Kumar Gupta and Nirbhay Ambedkar paid tribute. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, Industries Minister Shyam Rajak, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, Dalit Army National President Pashupati Kumar Paras, former Minister Tej Pratap Yadav, MP Misa Bharti, LJP National Spokesperson Shravan Kumar Agarwal, JDU Cooperation Cell President Pappu Singh Nishad has also mourned the demise of Vidyasagar Nishad.
