(Dharshini.G, Intern journalist)New Delhi: Pranab Mukherjee, former president and one of the nation’s most regarded government officials, has passed on at 84. The previous President of India, who tried positive for coronavirus, had been in a coma state after a brain medical procedure prior this month.

Early today, the army hospital in Delhi had announced a decrease in his condition. He had gone into septic shock because of his lung infection, the Army’s Research and Referral Hospital had said.
Mr. Mukherjee was admitted to the emergency clinic on August 10 and had a medical procedure the very day for the surgical removal of a clot in the brain. He had tested positive for COVID-19 in the emergency clinic. “On a visit to the medical clinic for a different system, I have tested positive for COVID-19 today.
