It is being told that this hacking was carried out through the internal system of Twitter. There is also talk of the connivance of some employees of this social microblogging site in this sensational hacking. The FBI has initiated an investigation into the matter.
A necker named Kirk, who claims to have carried out the conversation, has shared several grim with a newspaper. It has the details of the conversation that took place on Tuesday and Wednesday between the four people who performed the sit-in. The hacking was carried out on Wednesday. Kirk also proved that he can control important web accounts. He said, ‘I work on twitter. Do not show it to anyone.’
The four people involved in hacking also later shared screenshots of all their activities and conversations. This shows that a group of hackers, not Russia or any other country, was behind the biggest such online attack in America. US intelligence agencies had also said in their initial estimate that hackers could be involved in this, not in any country but in private.
After the hacking incident, a Twitter spokesperson had said that initial investigations revealed that hackers executed their intentions in connivance with some employees who had access to the company’s internal systems. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has also apologized for the incident.
Hacking had targeted the Twitter account of several veterans, including Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, and Mike Bloomberg. The social accounts of these giants were used to promote bitcoin.
